Families in Traralgon will be able to rely on great local sporting facilities, with a re-elected Andrews Labor Government to deliver over $300,000 for upgrades to local tennis and soccer clubs.

Labor will provide $286,000 to install new lights at the Traralgon City Soccer Club, allowing matches to continue after dark.

Traralgon Tennis Club will become more accessible for members and the public with a grant of $27,000 to install a new lift.

With these upgrades under a re-elected Labor Government, local clubs – and this local community – will have the great sporting facilities they deserve.

This commitment builds on the Andrews Labor Government’s investments in local community sports including $400,000 for the Traralgon Tennis Complex upgrade.

While the Liberals cut funding for hospitals and schools, and closed TAFE campuses – only Labor will invest in the projects our community really needs.

The Labor Government has made the biggest investment in grassroots sporting opportunities in Victoria’s history, with $420 million dedicated to community sports.
