Planning Future Sporting Precinct in Kingston

A re-elected Andrews Labor Government will kickstart planning for new sporting grounds in Kingston.

Labor will invest $1 million towards the masterplan for a sporting precinct in Kingston, delivering new sports and recreation facilities that the whole community can be proud of.

Sport is the lifeblood of so many suburbs, bringing families and neighbourhoods together.

Local clubs work hard to fundraise for better sports spaces and it’s important they have a government that backs them in.

That’s why the Labor Government is investing in local sports clubs, delivering better sports grounds and facilities.

The Labor Government has invested more than $1.6 billion to upgrade and improve local recreation reserves and sports grounds – making them better for local families.

We’ve delivered better courts and grounds, new scoreboards, lighting upgrades and changing facilities for clubs in every corner of the state.

Only a re-elected Andrews Labor Government will invest in the planning required to deliver the vision of Kingston Fields in Clarinda, looking after the needs of local families – because only Labor will do what matters.
